The International Press Corps (IPC) in Model United Nations operates uniquely, with delegates assuming the roles of journalists, writers, and editors to cover events and issues across committees. Delegates in the IPC engage in reporting, editing, and video tasks, simulating the work of various press agencies to provide comprehensive coverage of the conference proceedings.

Head Chair

Hello everyone! My name is Alia Zahra, and I am more than delighted to be your Head Chair for the International Press Corps. I am a year 13 student studying in Cambridge International School, Dubai, with a passion for media and the performing arts. Having only recently joined MUN’s I have found it to be a world of its own through my experiences as a delegate, chair, and secretariat member, and I am looking forward to working with you all!

My name is Fathima Tamanna, and I'll be the Co-Chair of International Press Corps. It really is intriguing to be here, in this position, after all those dreams of getting the role. I love writing. It has been my passion ever since I got tangled into the world of books and fiction. Another hobby is to paint and draw. These qualities proved to be useful in my journey as we must excruciatingly reach out into the depths of our minds and squeeze out every drop of creativity that lingers there. But I am up for the challenge and am looking forward to the surely unforgettable experiences that AviMUN may bring!
